Ordered new roller rockers, guide plates, rocker studs, stud girdle, cam kit and stainless valves for the 351C in mine today.

Also picked up a NOS stock replacement style Milodon pan for it to modify to old school deep sump.

What did it take to convert your heads over to accept adjustable roller rockers? I have non adjustable Scorpion roller rockers in my Cleveland but the type that mount to the stock fulcrum mouting points :)

I've painted the jack and parts for the Maverick last night and letting them dry in the cold :) Can't have a rusty jack in that clean trunk, did the wheel also for the trunk and painted the rim!

That might be a good method of restoring your car - make everything look new again in one place on the car and then move on - my problem is that I jump around too much

I like doing a section at a time. Grinding down the rear of the car now and priming it and moving forward. The engine compartment is completed also, with a rebuilt engine ;)

Yeah, for me I need to move a section at a time :) It also motivates me :)

You need to mill the pedestal guides off then drill and tap the pedestal for 7/16 NC thread. This all needs done square with the centerline of the original stud, not the deck surface.

Any decent machine shop can do it or Crane makes a kit you can use a hand drill and do it.

I've used the Crane kit before and wasn't happy with the accuracy, this time it's a very good machine shop for my heads.

Sent my money to Fred (fmc56) for a complete set (front and rear) of black seat covers for my '72 Grabber. Can't wait to get them installed!!

Humm, I was getting ready to have mine done soon. I just did my 70 Galaxie front seat. What was the charge for front and back covers? Are those going to be like factory and you're using Hog Rings to get them in?

Fred gets $530 for the front buckets and rears and $330 for just the front buckets. They look just like the original '71-'72 Grabber seats and even have the little badge/emblem on the back of the front buckets.

When they get here I'm taking the seats out of my car and taking them to my local auto upholstery shop to have them put on the seats.

I'm doing mine with a bench seat, outside will look like a grabber I guess. So I have a split bench and a bench in back. His price is comparable to my guys, but they put them in. I would love to see pics though :)

There are pictures in this thread. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?p=990850#post990850

The price I quoted above was for black seat covers. I think he said other colors may be more expensive.

They do look good. I'm not going original inside, instead I'm thinking Grabber Blue and black. Not certain, it may just be black!
