I also found that true with the hood. the trim for the front lip covers the drain holes. I redrilled the weep holes in the trim.
set my front end and the tie rods were bottomed out on the threads. I'll pull them tomorrow and cut off about 3/8" on each side and install longer...

that's a lot of rusted floor pan, did you find the water issue that caused it? I had one spot on the pass side, it was from a leaking heater core.
