got the rack and pinion buttoned up today. juiced it up and bled the air out. looks like it took care of the squall I had.
raining today so maybe...
to start with I just bring number 1 piston to compression TDC and see what it's lining up with.
if it's the original damper the outer ring may...
went back to the rack project only to find out the longer tie rod ends are too long. back to cutting off the 3/8" and use the shorter rod ends.
didn't get to the rack today, maybe tomorrow...:yup:
I also found that true with the hood. the trim for the front lip covers the drain holes. I redrilled the weep holes in the trim.
set my front end and the tie rods were bottomed out on the threads. I'll pull them tomorrow and cut off about 3/8" on each side and install longer...
