Starter turns, gas ignites, smoke from exhaust. Once the key is let loose, it shuts off
got everything hooked up. When I turn the ignition she rumbles. When I let go, the car shuts off. What did I do wrong?

Can I use the pulley from a 250 or do I need the v8 for the water pump?
