I made 645 hp on an eng dyno with a dura spark. the coil is where the spark comes from.
i use the ds with a blaster coil. i have used the ds as high as 8k rpm. the dist is dead on, its the coil that makes the spark.
i try and do it the same every time. i divide my complete gallonage into my complete driven miles. that way you can average it out over several times.

there is no wet newspaper, so it cannot be a air cannon. the projectile must seal before being shot.
I have done a couple of these, and my way was to install about a 1/2-3/4 spacer on top of the eng mt to set the eng higher. it worked for me.
