maverick front suspension question

    hey I have a 70 possibly a 69.5 anyway I need upper balljoints
    I ordered them from napa I know a guy there very good parts
    guy,and they are 3 bolt and the car is 4 bolt balljoints.do I have the falcon
    front end /he had to go back to 68 in the falcon listing to get 4 bolt joints.im
    gonna get them tomorrow hope they fit.my other question is i'm converting to 5 lug disc will the disc spindles fit with these control arms?or do I have to get
    newer maverick control arms.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    The disc brake spindles will fit fine. You will need to change the outer tie rods on the steering.

    From one of your other posts, you said it has the key in the dash, so yes, you have one of the early cars we affectionately call 69.5's. Ford did, in the early days, use the Falcon set up.

    What is your VIN? We have an intensive VIN listing here that you can compare and get an idea how early your car was built in the model year - my 69.5 was a later built car originally equipped with regular 70 suspension parts :)

    Out of 25 69.5 Maverick VINs in the list your's falls in at number 10 built at St THomas plant in Canada - not a really early version but earlier than half of the cars on the list.
