How do you NEATLY install spark plug wires?

    I really like those ones that run UNDER the headers! Make them disappear FAST!

    But I don't think I can do that with these wires. I need to loom them up like Blugene and run them along the valve covers.

    I can get the tool at O'Reilly for $16. Do you guys think I can get the Motorcraft boots to move so I can re-crimp them all shorter?

    i have the smoothie wire looms that bolt onto the valve cover :yup: i just havn't cut the MSD wires yet lol...they're still up in my room :D

    oh and the MSD wires i bought came with a crimping tool

    I like em! Are they bare metal?? Was thinking you could dip them in the plastic stuff you use for tool handles etc.

    Thats a good idea. They look great. Must be an awful lot of hours in those.

    i cut all my wires so the writting was all in the same direction and lined up on top of each other... :thumbs2:

    I like to keep my wires at least one inch apart and as far away from metal as I can.
    I have made my own wire supports from thermoplastic sheets.

    wow paul you sure do like yellow. whats with the throttle linkage instead of a cable? and is that a fuel press regulator or a pump under the gage, and does it have a transistor on it?

    The yellow started as an accent for the dipstick handle and grew when I rebuilt the alternator, vacuum advance and remarked the balancer. The wires were a co-incidence.
    The fuel pump is an electronic one that has a built-in by-pass at 6 psi.

    The engine shown is in a 66 Muskrat - not a Maverick. I would have had to change too much to put in a decent cable linkage. The one that is shown only has 2 pounds of resistance on the throttle shaft - compared to 18 pounds on my stock Maverick.
