I was going to the chromer to chrome my Cougar tail light grills and asked if they chromed plastic. They didnt but gave the number of a place 15 minutes from me that did. I called them for a quote. They gave me one over the phone. Incredible price-$46.00 to chrome the Maverick Grill. Their name is Vacuum Ornamental in Romulus (near Detroit).Phone is 734 941 9100. Im taking it in this week. Best of all its an American Company.

I send all my plastic things for chroming to Custom Coatings. They are in Tallahasse, FL. They do a great job. I have been using them for about 11 years. The process is real chrome plating, not the vacumm plating. Pricing isn't real cheap but i love chrome, it'll get you home.

Wonder if the vacuum process will hold up on an exterior part?
