he has both 2 and 4 doors in big and small bumpers and you can order the grabber hood from maverickconnection. perry's also has a ford inline 6 you can drop in unde the hood. might not be what you want in your real car but would probably make for a more intereting model you'll just have to gut a mustang kit to finish it http://www.perrysresin.com/catalog/catalog.htm the sohc 427 would be cool too http://www.perrysresin.com/catalog/catalog.htm and you could cut out the front end and throw this in 'er http://www.perrysresin.com/photos-product/ifs.jpg
Nice Maverick Models Check the Plastic Model Kits section on ebays Hobbie catagory. Then select "automotive" When it comes up, type Maverick in the search box and click. You may have to keep trying to find what you are looking for. My favorite is the Jo-han Funny car Maverick or showroom stock version. I bought two if these, one is a stock 6cyl in polar white with tan interior. The other is also the stock 6cyl Maverick but I got the "Sprint" decals also from ebay and built a very nice Maverick Sprint. I also bought 4 Jo-han Pro Stock Maverick Grabber kits and converted them to stock Grabbers using '66 Mustang and '69 Mach 1 & Cougar Parts. I cut hoods out of "Palmer" Maverick kits it use with my models. You can buy hoods now. Grabber Decals are sold on ebay by a guy in Canada. They are excellent Now you can buy a '74 Grabber in diecast 1:24 form. I still can't believe it. I never thought I'd see the day! I built a '74 Grabber 25 years ago but It has been an on- going project to get it to look like a '74. I used '72 Grabber stripes and paint to make the "74 design. It looks fantastic. I used a stock Maverick hood, '69Mach 1 hood decal cut to look like the strip on '74 Grabber hood. Happy Modeling!
HERE are the Comets Ebay. There is even one already made up with a 429(Johan?) HERE are the Mavericks
