Found these beauties while out hunting for bumpers... how sad I feel I had share their sad final resting spots. If/when I Go Back To The Yard That I Sent My Old Parts Car To (72 Grabber), It Still Had The Vinyl Top Trim On It. If I Think About It Ill Grab It... If Interested
I foolishly had to look inside the one in the pile for good parts. Fortunately I didn't end up in a car sandwhich. I guess when it was brought in it was a complete car, but it's been picked over pretty good. The brown one also is sitting on top of a large fire ant nest, which made it ineresting pulling the bumper off of it. I think I may have set some sort of speed record for bumper pulling...
I've got a bunch of pics of junkyard Mav's I've pulled parts off of, includeing a Sprint. I see a ton of good parts in your pics.
I don't know about a "ton" of good parts, since I didn't really find what I was after, but I'm sure there are some good items left.
Possibly 2 good hood lip trims? Rear bumper brackets, front bumper brackets, V8 frame mounts, V8 frame cross member?, double hump trans cross member?, front bumper, head light rings, front valance?, window trim, filler panel, small bumper valance/grille support brace... I see plenty of possibly good stuff.
I love pics like that,, hate the fact that the cars are dead, but something bout a junkyard just makes me feel at home. Dan
