I'm new here and I have always had 1968-72 Novas. Almost all are original paint and lowmilage cars. I found a 70 Maverick 6cyl add on air (it works) very nice original Blue paint and perfect original black interior, 24,000 original miles. The car has always been from Georgia and kept inside. Everything works and it needs nothing. I know what a nova like this would be worth but I'm stumped on the The Maverick. Any help would be appreciated. I plan on making an offer Thursday. I've been told it would take 5800 to buy it. Thank's Mark

If it's a 2 door and in mint shape or close 2500 to 5000k IMO since it's a 6 cyl car.

    :Welcome: :Handshake ,

    sounds like a nice car.(y)
a lot depends on the car. if you have some way to check the cowls, floorpans and the underside and they are solid that is not a bad price.
sometimes original means everything is in your case 35+ yrs. old. that isn't always a good thing when buying a mav.
if you can get some pics.and a vin. # that will help in getting a price.
is it a Grabber, if not and being a 6cyl. keeps the price down.
let us know what you find out.

It's a two door and the underside looks perfect. ZERO rust anywhere. It has very nice original paint, all ofthe trim, weather strips, glass and bumpers, look new. It has to be one of the best unrestored cars around.

It's hard to say how long I'll keep it. I've bought some cars and had them for years and some only a few weeks. It depends on how I like it after it's been around a while. If it stays around I'll have to put on a grabber hood and change the 4 lugs so I can put on some 500 wheels. I really like that look. If I do sell it I'm sure there wouldn't be any money made. I always seem to pay on the top end of what a car is worth, but I like clean, lowmilage, original cars and to me they are worth a premium. Mark
