This is what was done, as was suggested by someone on here, I forget who now. But it works! He took a shock sleeve (the long tube) cut it in to 4 equal parts then with some valve cover bolts of a jag. I ground off its lower flange to run it thru the bracket. Then he drilled 2 small holes in the frame to hold the new brake line. Looks pretty darn good
That looks like he used disc brake hoses. I used 68 Mustang drum brake hoses on mine with 70 Mustang backing plates and drums. I used a frame bracket off of a 68 Mustang as well. http://mmb.maverick.to/showpost.php?p=722113&postcount=163
That is a nice install... The disc brake hose bracket bolts directly to the frame rail on my '69 Fairlane, so unless same are too short that's how I'm mounting them on the Comet...
