Can someone post a pic, or direct me to a pic of the alternator mount setup on a 73 maverick w/302? Am doing the 6 to 8 swap and need some info.

Also need a pic or two of the power steering pump setup, mounted to the engine.

    Thanks, guys.................Dave

I've seen the adjustment bracket mounted on both sides (inner and outer) of the triangle shaped bracket. Yours looks like it is on the outside. Am I correct?

My oil dipstick tube wants to line up with the pivot bolt for the alternator. Is that correct?
Oh, and my brackets also for the alternator, seem to fall together with the adjustment bracket behind the triangle bracket. I have three of the triangle brackets and they all seem the same. mayby its the water pump?

Think the adjustment bracket for the alternator goes on the OUTSIDE of the triangular mounting bracket. You sure you have the right adjuster bracket?

Notice the black mounting bracket bolted on the head and the spacer next to it. Does yours look like that?

I have three trangle brackets(all exactly the same) and three adjuster brackets(of which only one is different and WAY wrong). When I bolt it up without the adjuster bracket, there's a perfect little space for the adjuster bracket BEHIND the triangle bracket.(with all three) I suppose it doesn't really matter. The pulley's all line up.

As far as the 'black mounting bracket' and oil dipstick positioning, I got it figured out thanks....but my 'black bracket' is aluminum. ;)

Your aluminum bracket was last used in 1969 on 302's.

I have a steel one too. They look to be exactly the same but I thought the aluminum one looked nicer.
