Does anyone have any drag times for stock mavericks? I would like quarter mile times along with top speed for a 74-77 maverick 2-door with 200CID I6 and C4 automatic transmission.

They started testing the stock 200 back in mid-73'. The times are not in yet, but I hear that the car just crossed the 1,000 foot mark!

Just a guess, 17 to 19 seconds, depending on the driver and such.

    hahahaha

i've met some of the nicest people on these boards...but damn you people sure hate six cylinders. Actually I prefer the straight six, I think it is a very good engine and I'm still not sure if I ever want to go with a V8.

I do not hate the ole reliable 6.
I was just having a little fun.
My comments are NO reflection of the people on this board, its just me being silly.

    Sorry if I upset you.

    John.

no offense taken, just an observation that most people here don't like the sixes.
