Jason, when I did my conversion to the 2825 bulbs I also went to Discount Auto and they didn't carry them. but then I went to Auto zone and they had them.

I dont know about all advance auto part stores but I was at work today and found them. that is the upgrade right 194 bulbs for 2825 bulbs? why??? brighter or do they last longer. i did notice that they fit alot of european cars.

GT; the 2825 bulb is a higher wattage bulb, and is much brighter. You will definitely notice a difference.

I did this conversion on one of my cars today. After doing a little running I found 2 of the 2825 bulbs at Auto Zone. I went across the street to O-Reilly and they had none. They did find out however that a Wagner bulb 17177 is the same bulb. I checked it and it was the same thing (5 watt). Another thing is you really only need to purchase three of these bulbs. All of the other bulbs are for the blinkers, idiot lights, and dimmer light. It's not really necessary to change all of those as they are bright enough already. There are only three cluster bulbs that come on when you turn the headlights on. When you pull the panel out from the dash you can plug it back in and tell very easily which ones are coming on when you look at the back side.
