69 1/2 mav whats diff on them ?

    think some of the frontend parts but like what ?? rearview mirror is diff
    going to do some brake work and i have a set of drum spindels with all new parts think they came off a 69 1/2 or 70 that ward has ...was just going to hang them on ball joints the same ??

    That mirror is off of an older car.

    Differences:

    Key on the dash...not on the column.

    Horn ring on steering column instead of a horn pad.

    Metal data tag on the door instead of a data sticker on the door jamb.

    Different type of sticker located on trunk lid not found on any other year of Maverick

    A silver sticker located inside. Something about '"Federal" regulations or something. They came on all Ford's in 1969.

    68-69 Ford's and Mercury's had them. I remember them from my Cougar building days. Called a "Safety Act" sticker. Ford part #C8AB-6220472-A

    Jim Osborne reproduces it.

    None on mine. Although the trunk lid looks original as well as the paint on the inside, nobody knows for sure. This a a California car. Maybe they didnt have them.

    I had one of those cars. The amazing trail of vacuum and vapor lines coming out of the tank and going under the car is amazing!!

    Also amazing is the fact tha car has made it all the way from the left coast to Maryland somewhere in its life.
