mirror adjusting knob location?

getting ready to put the door mirrors on and was wondering if someone could post or send me a pic,of where the adjusting knob sits on the inside driver side panel?i only want to drill it out one time thanks...chuck.

 

Just a thought you could just take the adjuster knob off and figure out a way to mount it and just move it with your hand then you wouldn't need to drill at all.

 

if i did away with the cable,the mirror would wobble around.

 

your right if you remove the cable the mirror will fall off.............hmmmm
unless you glued it to the housing
which is what I did after I realized what I had done

The knob is 4 inches to the center as the rule is shown and 1 7/8 inches from the top of the door. Also you have to drill it as shown to get the knob thru the hole. Good Luck Tim
