I painted my gas tank with it. It seems to hold up fine 6 years later (but only about 1200 miles).

![]() I would think that just like any other paint, the prep is key. Or not. The spatter paint in my truck didn't hold up worth a crap as soon as I put something in the trunk. I guess that's why they have trunk mats eh? And then I'd bet some brands of hammered paint hold up better too.
