New member to site, not as a Maverick owner

    Hey All,

    juat joined the site, Have owned my 71 Maverick grabber since 1980 (before I could drive) it spent years on the strret, then by the late 80's became a full time drag car, have had a Boss 302 in it since 85-86, runs mid 10's now, if anyone spent time at Raceway Park (NJ) they would have known this car as being Ford Dark Blue, redid the car in the mid nineties back to the original grabber yellow.

    ps. Ive bought an NOS valance, and a steel grabber hood ( my original was rusted) since this shot, and put them on

    Nice car! I had a 72 Comet in high school and I have wanted a Mav or a Comet with a Boss 302 since that time.

    What headers do you use or are they custom built?
