I want to put a front spoiler on my 1970 Ford Maverick. Where can I find one? I've heard some Pinto spoilers work but I'd like somebody tell me for sure or who I can buy one from. Thanks!

You can find a ad that sells them for $44 in Mustangs and Fords. Installation isn't hard but does require drilling. The hardest part is getting the corners to sit flat. You can really feel the difference at 40+ MPH and it looks great. There should be a pic in the gallery under Ray Parish and I will post a pic of mine tomorrow.

Rudy was right on the money. I'm getting ready to purchase another one right now for another 71 Grabber I'm building. They aren't the best fit in the world but presently they are all we have to work with. Here's a pic on the last one I installed. Good luck.

Sorry Jdog, don't have a part number. If you'll find you a copy of Mustangs & Fast Fords, or a few other Ford oriented magazines, look for an ad by Meyer Racing. You'll find the spoiler listed in that ad as it has been there for many years. They only give one listing for the Maverick and it's about $44.00. I keep waiting on them to come up with a web-site but they have yet to do so.
    Good luck on your car.

I know this is an ancient thread but I lost the spoiler on my old mav and now that I am building another one I can not track down another one of these spoilers. I have searched the mags. Does ANYONE have a line on front spoilers?
