This brings up a good point. We know these cars like the back of our hands but, really where does it say "Ford" on the early Mavericks? The latter years hade them on the truck lid and the hood, but I can't think of and "chrome" that says "Ford" on my car. Besides the little stickers here and there. Russ

Russ is correct.....nowhere does a Maverick say "Ford" on it in the early years. Still....if you are in the "auto" business....you think they woukd know.

Maybe it didn't get hit in the front end. It's just wrinkling it's nose up at the thought of being called a Dodge. All they had to do was open the drivers door and look at the ID sticker to see it really is a FORD.

What you need to do is...

convince the seller that the Dodge Maverick is not as rare as the Ford Maverick and it is only worth half as much as the Ford...

    then bid

    LOL

On the other hand, A dodge Maverick would really be rare. A one of one car. Could be priceless.
