Disk Brake swap (unknown Part)

im doing a disk brake swap in my 74 maverick and i have everything ready to go except for one part. its the small triangular piece that goes behind the rotor. both of mine are rusting out. i cant find anyone who sells them.

i believe it is part #2B116 on the diagram

does anyone know where to get it or is it even needed?
