I've been searching around on e-bay for a front spoiler that would fit on the front of my 1970 Maverick. In the Mustang section they have several different styles. I would like to go with the abs plastic instead of fiber glass. Could someone tell me what style, and, or year Mustang spoiler would work?

Use a front spoiler for a 1970, 1969 Mustang. That is what is on my Merc1.

merc1mack; Another member complained that the aftermarket spoiler he used (MAS is the name of the company mentionned, I think) didn't fit so well. Anyone using this product have a comment on this? Those of you with the Mustang spoiler; what year are your cars, and how well do the factory spoilers fit ? Thanks. John B.

The spoiler is on a 1971. It looks good. I have used five bolts. My Merc buddy and I installed it very quickly.
I replaced the Mustang spoiler with one from MAS racing products. Looks great!:tiphat:

I have had the MAS chin spoiler and feel it is a pos. In fact, I threw it away. The 1969 Shelby Mustang chin spoiner fits 70-72 Mavericks and Comets perfect. At $100 it is a deal compared to the MAS.

I like mine fine, but to the point...
This thread is almost 5 years old!

Gary, there is a private message system on the forum.
To ask someone a question there would be far more effiecient than digging up an ancient thread to do it.

Btw: Welcome to the board! :)

    more effiecient ?????????????

Gary you did a fine job digging up this old thread. you got alot more attention to your question. did you get my responce to your e mail? well i will say it again. so others can learn. I had a 72 mav.I DONT KNOW IF THEVALANCES ARE THE SAME ON YOUR YEAR. But with that said the spoiler will give some for installation. Mine came from Dennys camaro parts in mountville Pa. phone # (717) 285-5222. 67-68-69 camaro. one of those years has an indent at the center for a body line. I think the 69.Can someone post a pic of my car from the 10th i think annual round up.so all can see how killer the chin spoiler looks on my old car.. thanks yall john
