*anti-flame disclamer* (im a mavrick newbie!)

Im just a yougin that was looking for a project car to work on...
Wanted somthing that was different, something that I dont see often (at least in my area, dono how common they are elsewhere)... So *poof* I went out and bought a 73 mavrick 2 door. I have begun working on the body but I have a question....
    1. The interior is in great shape, but the last owner cut the inside door handles off for some reason.... Wreaking yards may not have them around here, so... Are the inside door handles swapable with any other door handles ?

I have a 72 so I'm guessing they are in the same place...Mine are located under the dash on the drivers side. They are the old style glass cyliniders not the blade style you see on newer cars...Welcome Aboard!!

Welcome! The fuses are exactly where 289Mav said they are. Since your Mav is a 73, the door handles inside will interchange with all Mavs and Comets years 73-77. 70-72 are different than yours. Here is a diagram of the fuses.

Corbin...interesting information. If you don't mind my asking where did those come from. I'm somewhat of a newbie too and that looks like info I'd love to have around. Thanks!

Welcome to the board, you might try looking on ebay for a set of handles, that or ask Craig Selvey. You'll find this board a great source of info.

I got these diagrams from a book I have called: "Chilton's Repair & Tune-Up Guide" Maverick Comet 1970-77. I got it probably four or five years ago at a used book store for $7.00. You see them on ebay quite frequently, but are usually more than $7. Here is a picture of the cover.

    I have a hard cover Maverick Chilton's - but I think it only covers 1970 ....
