Welcome back Paul. I remember your name and car when I was doing the MCCI membership directory and the newsletter. Yours was one of the first cars featured in FULL COLOR in the MCCI newsletter. Yes....you will have to renew your MCCI membership. Glad to hear you got a REAL Grabber as well. I remember that car being discussed on here. Looks like a nice one.

Mojo:

I, too wish I had neighbours that owned Mavericks/Comets! And no, I don't think I'm related to the wine maker, although people always feel compelled to bring me empty bottles of the stuff to display in my garage.

Craig:

It's been a long time, and yes I remember the joy of seeing the first colour versions of Shorthorns, especially considering my Maverick (along with two others I bought at the time) got 'published'. I tried to find some 'dirt' on the car here, but didn't see anything other than the Craigslist Grabbers thread. Hopefully, all the talk was good??

I have my membership application all filled out, except for the door tag info (forgot to get a picture of that before the car shipped out), but the cheque is almost in the mail!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

I was 14 when I got mine! Do yourself a favour and NEVER sell it, because you will spend many years and many more thousands of dollars trying to re-live the Maverick experience all over again!!

Not that it isn't worth doing, it would have been nice to not have lost all of that time and money, when you could be here having Maverick-fun!
