Just got the 70 mav a front end aligment and guy told me that my gear box is going out its manual steering. I can get a steering box but its for power steering. Can I still use one for power steering? Is the only differance is the gear ratio?

I need to know quick next week I'll be going down to a wrecking yard to pick one up.

The box will work just fine. It will be a little quicker ratio, which in my opinion, is more desirable, and a little more effort when stopped and at low speeds. I've always put power boxes in my manual cars.

Dennis, will the manual pitman arm fit right on the power box?
