just an fyi the only magazine that covers the maverick in features is Mustangs and Fords.

5.0 and super fords though a good book however it only covers mustangs, sometimes the focus. i read it because of the tech stuff on small block fords. so this magazine can be relvant motor wise.

Mustang Monthy well the tittle kinda explains that.

    and

Muscle Mustands and Fast Fords. Mostly covers late model stuff. only seen a maverick in that magazine when it a candid at the race track. other then that. it never covers them. or at least i haven't seen it.

with all that in mind.... Mustangs and Fords is the way to go. btw Jeff Ford of the editor for that magazine likes mavericks. support those you support you!

I agree with Maverick Man on the choice of Mustangs and Fords. In fact, as I understand it, one of their writers or editors is working on a project Maverick that will be used for future articles. Plus this mag is void of stuff on 5.0 Mustangs that have next to nothing in common with our cars. John B.

I quit getting the 5.0 mag because there were more articles about 4.6 mod motors than 5.0's.

Go figure, sence they stop putting 5.0's in mustangs 9 years ago.............

I like all of the magazines, I'm really excited that they are getting 400 Hp out of 4.6's and not really making big changes, heads, injectors, and cams. Edelbrock is also making a carberated intake for the 4.6's so super cheap wrecking yard poeple like me can use them. :D

Mustang & Ford deals with a lot of the stuff that will work with our cars. Carb's. c4's suspension and what-not
I used to get MM&FF, Mustang 5.0, HOTROD, Mustang Monthly.......
now I have only renewed Mustang & Ford and HOTROD.

I guess that was the point of my post - why don't they just call it 4.6?

(btw, I just got back from VatoZone and was asked if I was sure I had a 5.0 and not a 4.0 in my '89 Mustang). :slap:

there was a big debate about that here at work. thing is when you change the name of a magazine your bound to lose circualtion on the newsstand. you don't wanna do that.

also the majority of the market is still 5.0 also remember that advertisers in that magazine sell more 5.0 parts then 4.6's. make any sence?

just like if mustangs and fords, its called mustangs and fords.. why don't we see late model mustangs in there, even though its called mustangs and fords? well the book is specific to what it covers as well as what advertisers sell.. so nope you wont see a name change to Early Model Mustangs and Fords. it just a given you already know whats in there.

Mustang and Fords. There is a new magazine out now called Legendary Ford. Supposedly, they will feature no more than 1 Mustang per issue. Their feature cars are very nicely done. Hopefully we can get some CoMavs in there.
