I have got several of the promos in 1/24 and few kits in 1/32. I have more of the kits in 1/24 of the Comet as well. My intentions are to make my highschool ride (1975 slant 6 metalic green w/ white vinyl roof), and then do several custom jobs. A convertable, and slight messaging the shape and so on. I also do this professionally. So, if anyone wants an exact copy of their ride, let me know. I can do that. I am a professional model maker. Later... John
Depends on a lot of factors. Things as... Scale? Do you or I supply the kit? What mods to the car are needed?? Full engine bay?? Full trunk bay?? Open/closed doors?? How complex is your paint job?? I plan on doing a full Mav kit. As in, take one of the kits, fix all the problems, add detail, and so on, and then cast it up. So, the convertible may end up available as a kit for those who build. I'll need to do a complete list of all the changes between years. Mostly grilles and light. The kits I have are all 72/73s. I need a 75 for mine. But, to answer your question... Roughly $250.00 CDN ($190 US). This is for a full build. Matched paint colour, proper interior scheme, your plate number. All dents and scratches will be included if desired. Check out my website, where I make mostly Sci-Fi stuff. But we do it all. http://www.coldnorth.com/millennia_models
Boy, I must have scared ya'll something terrible there. Typical Application. Your build may vary. Use only as directed.
