Well we got it all back together and ready to put back in. We started with a low mileage 302 from a late 70's model F-150. boiled,honed,shotpeened, bored 30 over and magnafluxed. Eagle forged 4340 crank internally balanced Jegs internally balanced dampener Milodon 8 qt. oil pan with deep pick up high volume pump Custom made to match setup 3500 stall converter Ross dome top pistons increased combustion chamber to 60 cc on the new Canfield heads Ford motorsport roller rockers Victor Jr. intake all intake and exhaust ports ported and polished to match New manual valve body New shift kit New Deep sump tranny pan Holley 670 dual feed carb Compression 10.75 to 1 minimum estimated HP 400..max 450 Here's some pics...I might be able to take it for a run tomorrow night

Yeah all the pics and specs mean nothing until a timeslip is posted. The car is NOT being built for the track...I'm afraid If I run under 7.5 secs I won't be going back cuz I'm not gonna make it track legal ie, roll cage,harness etc. etc. All I want is a very strong street car and a " bulletproof" motor which I think we've managed to do. Ward the Mav makes friends wherever it goes, just something about these cars makes it that way but I don't have to tell you that. Dennis I'll meet ya halfway maybe at Stephen Moores home track on a Saturday before it gets too cold...it would be a blast if Stephen and the other Carolina guys could make it. Just a thought.
