Got a ton of little nick nack things to do between now and the Regional Meet in Atlanta...starting to make a little progress though.
That looks like the late model Ford 1-wire to me. Looks nice Rick. I assume this is the same car you had at the Roundup last year doing laps at the drag strip?
It is the March pulley and bracket setup, the alternator is a Ford 3G single wire 130 amp. Hindsight being what it is I wish I had gone with the 6G alt as its smaller and lighter but same amp output. Matt it is the same car but not the same motor, this one has a weee bit more power
nice dude! i give it is that a AN set up that i see on the heater hoses going into the fire wall? wheres the powersteering?
I have a March Bracket and pulley setup with a 3g alternator. However my brackets place the alternator down low.
That's interesting, if you have a pic I'd like to see it, that alt does kinda stick out like a sore thumb and lets face it...it can only look but so good. I've got a chrome Tuff Stuff alt but I'm afraid it would be too much bling bling after the valve covers and aircleaner go on and thats not the look I want.
I will get a better picture, but as you can see in this one the alternator is definitely lower. The alternator is done in black powder coat.
Hey riporter looking good, please post some pictures when you get the Air cleaner and valve covers on.
I would definitely like to see a close up of the brackets and where there mounted, very nice looking motor BTW. Thx for the kind words yall...I'll post a pic when it's done. Dennis did you solve the problem with the noise from your fuel pump? I took everyones advice and moved mine back to the tank area and it sounds like yours did now :16suspect
