    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    does anyone know the mesurements on a 75 mav fuel tank, also if a 76 will fit without major modification.

    Yes, 74-77 tanks should all be the same.

    71 - 75 tanks are the same ... 75 - 77 tanks are the same .... I put 75 on both since people of seen both small and large in a 75 ...

    I didn't realize the small tanks were used until '75. Sorry for the misinformation. Does that mean I could use a '75 tank on a early car and it would clear the valance?

    i put the "big tank on my '73 with no valance problems.
    the "big tank is square at the back,,,the "small" one is slanted"..frank...:bouncy:
