Looky Looky Looky. Look at what is on www.bestresin.com .

Now whoever (whomever) needs a hood for their Maverick model can have whichever one they choose. They have flat hoods and the Grabber style as you can see. They also have a Comet hood too. And scoops that look like the ones that you could probably use to make the flat Comet hood look like the GT hood.:drink:

Cost is $4.00 and it looks like shipping is about $1.

Another good site is www.perrysresin.com . They have the Maverick in 2 and 4 door flavors AND they actually have the Small bumper cars AND the big bumper ones too.

They have Mavericks and some Wrinkle wall slicks with Pewter Centerline rims.

One of the guys that has "Re engineered" the Maverick model is Billy Gooche. I think I have seen him on Ebay too. All of his models he sells seem to always have the decals missing. I wonder if he is trying to reproduce them since he has a website too. I searched for billygooche and I think I found him. Not sure if they are actually the same person though. Hmmmmmmmmmm......

Check out a Comet he has sold. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6052025267&category=2582

    well, let's see:

    $4 + $1 shipping * 24 (scale) = $120.00 (scale price)

wow, now if I can just figure a way to compress my car to 24th scale

    :rofl2:
