mounting original jack

can somebody tell me where exactly the original jack was placed when car left factory, i know how spare tire is mounted with the u hook, but cant figure out where the jack went

The jack sat on the trunk floor .. raised high enough so when the tire rim is placed on top and tightened down it is held in place.

Isn't the storage instructions illustrated on the jack instruction decal on the bottom side of the deck lid?
