From Flickr 2006:"During the Finals, the Paul and Young Ron morning show on Big 105.9 FM crushed a Ford Maverick. First, they had it painted in a Dallas Maverick theme. Then, they invited Heat fans smash it up with sledgehammers, bats, and anything else they had handy (they called this event, "Beat the Maverick"). Then, they had it dropped from a crane at a height of 105.9 feet (they called this, "Drop the Maverick"). The Heat won after each of the events, so the crushed Maverick was appropriately featured in the Heat Championship Parade.
