power windows

Has anyone ever thought about putting power windows in our Mavericks/Comets? Here is an inexpensive way of doing that. I just might give it a try. At least for the drivers window....LOL

Tom Hackman wrote a great article on how to put power windows in these cars. It was published in the March / April 2004 Short Horns.

I tried to watch the video but my computer says the file is corrupt.

I think I am going to use the Taurus window motors to put power windows in my car. mavdog71 used them and it looks pretty easy to do.

1972 Maverick - daily driven 215,000+ miles since 2005. 433,000+ miles total on the car. Now with a 1980 200 I6/SROD 4 speed.. 2.79 rear gear, Rochester BC carb, single out header, MSD ignition, Taurus fan, 3G alternator. 31 mpg hwy. @ 70 mph / 25 city.
