I got this email today. Very cool. Wish I still had the Sprint. I do miss that car. Did Mavaholic get an email from them also? Looks like we will be getting more recognition on our cars. Woohoo!!!!! Dear Mr. Cooper,Our magazine, Collectible Automobile, published by PublicationsInternational, Ltd. in Lincolnwood, Illinois, has scheduled an articleabout the 1970 to 1977 Ford Maverick, written by Paul McLaughlin, to appearin our August, 2008 issue. While looking for stock restored orwell-maintained original cars to include with this article, I found your1972 Maverick Sprint on the Maverick/Comet Forums media gallery and theMaverick Comet Club International Members' Cars page. Do you still own thiscar, and if so, would you allow us to photograph it to include with thearticle? If you are willing to share your 1972 Sprint with our readers, I work witha number of excellent photographers throughout the U.S. and can send one toyour location within the next week to ten days to photograph the car. Thephoto session, which is at no cost to you, will take approximately 1.5hours -- enough time for the photographer to capture multiple views of thebody, engine, and interior, plus close-up and detail shots. We also stagethe photographs outside, against a suitable background, and do not includepeople in the picture. When we use these photos of your car in CollectibleAutomobile, we will include your name with the caption that accompanies itand will send you one complimentary copy of the magazine when it ispublished. I do want you to know that we own the rights to the images shotby our photographer, will keep them on file at our office, and may includephotos of your car in our future automotive publications. We are in the production phase of our magazine and need to complete allphoto shoots by February 29.I appreciate any help you can provide and look forward to your response.Thank you for considering my request.Sincerely,
