A BRAND NEW 6 cyl exhaust manifold is now available. No need to mess around with a rusty, old used one....if you can even find one!!

I got mine from The Paddock in Knightstown, IN.
    www.paddockparts.com

I am sure other vendors have it available.

    Part Number: D3BZ-9030AR $199.95

It is listed for 1968-1973 and fitting the 170, 200, & 250 6 cyl motors. It is a reproduction. The best part....no smog equipment on it (which is why they probably only list it going up to 1973).

Here is a picture of it right out out the box:

I decided to get mine powdercoated first. This is a high heat powdercoat that can withstand the heat of the exhaust. It is dull grey color. I think it looks pretty good:

Here is the exhaust manifold I removed from my 1976 250 6 cyl. The previous owner had welded up all of the little holes from the smog equipment, as well as the hole where the smog pump attached. The big curly pipe hooks up to the egr under the carb. With this new manifold....this has all been left off...making for a very clean and easy installation....especially if you want to remove the smog equipment:

One important note: I did find that I needed to do a little "grinding" on the #1 cylinder bottom exhaust bolt location in order to get the bolt in. I wish I would have found this out before the powdercoating. Oh well!!

Follow Up Note: I had purchased a brand new one thru Ford about 10 years ago when you could still get them). It came with all the "smog" stuff on it. I was so glad when I finally saw this product come out.
