I saw these on my way home and thought that they are about the correct size for our cars. They're from a 66 Catalina. . . yeah, i know a gm part:huh:
I would try them, but i already got caprice taillights.

Interesting idea. Since we're talking about GM lights, how about Mopar? I got to wondering about these, from a '70 Satellite.

Honestly though, I don't know why everybody wants to change the Maverick tallights, unless it's just to be different. I think the back of the Mav looks great like it is. Is it because they're the same as a Pinto? Nobody remembers what a Pinto looked like anyway...

Those look pretty good. Maybe point them outwards tho...
I kinda like the Catalina ones more tho.
I have a Comet so I have no need for any improvements :biglaugh::D

Yeah, would definitely want to point them outwards...

Or how 'bout some of those later model Pinto lights? :D

Personally, i don't think the original tail lights 'flow' well. Distancing it further from the pinto is just an added bonus.

My top preferance is the bobcat lights. But since they are so rare (expensive), i am always on the lookout for other (cheap) ideas. the catalina's are on ebay right now for ~$25-35 with three sets (one set is 100 for some reason).

Anyhow, i was just putting out more ideas. i will problaby put catalina lights on my next maverick (shhh don't tell my wife i plan on another).
