Are you suffering from small tube syndrome? Can't get enought CFM out of your engine. Well, if this sounds like you then listen up. It's that time of year again at Crites Restoration, Jessica has just informed me they just got a fresh shipment of pipe for the 2009 production. That's right, 1.75" headers for our cars. Act fast, Get your order in today as supplies are limited. When the pipe runs out there won't be another run till next year. What are you waiting for, pick up the phone.

    Tax, Tag and Title extra.

Anyone with aftermarket aluminum heads use these? Any clearance issues? I'm looking to build a 347 with AFR 205's over the winter...also currently have no shock tower mods...manual steering...cable shifted auto trans...

    Thanks...

Im also interested in the above answers. Also, what kind of ground clearance do you get?

if ur running a 302/based engine, i would just go with the 6901's myself. as long as your heads dont have modified/moved exhaust ports, you'll be fine.

Well find out soon enough, I already ordered, Can't beat that price for sure. Ill be using them on a set of big TFS High Ports. I also ordered them with the flanges spot welded, this way I can remove them and weld some TFS flanges for a smooth transition. :thumbs2:

6901's hang too low to the ground. I had a set before that would scrape on speed bumps and low driveway ramps. I have since installed a set of Doug Thorely shorties and lowered the front another 1". Im not happy with the shorties on my 347. I dont think they flow as well as the motor needs them to.

ive learned that you'll have ground clearence issues with about any long tube header on a maverick. there's not alot of space under there and if you lower one, or use 200 springs in one, it sits down pretty low. i had the 200 springs in a '71 i built a few yrs ago with 6901's and it was VERY close to scraping with a 195-70-15 tire but never did..... but i see what ur saying :yup:

Not sure if this was asked, but do the Mav headers come with 3.5" collectors like the Mustang series? Or are they bumped down 3".
