Yep, got it half-way torn down and realized I dont have time to do everything to it I want to do, so Im in the process of putting it all back together...we're supposed to be buying a house sometime in Feb/March(didnt know this when I started tearing it down), and we're not going to have a garage right off the bat at the new house so I cant have anything in pieces.

So, the question is, can anyone supply me with a vacuum/wiring/hose diagram for the engine compartment of a '77 250? I could get a haynes manual but with christmas coming up and hours being cut back I can barely afford to eat :rofl2:

I wrote down some things and other things I figured Id remember....but stupid me keeps forgetting I have random moments of sporatic memory loss...lol

Pics would be better. Looks like you have an electric frying pan lol. j/k...
I would think that if all the vacuum ports were pluged it should at least start. I'm not sure what your talking about on the valve cover that's why I say pics might help. I think I have some diagrams but it would be a day or two... Someone may have changed things. I bought my 75 and it has a different motor even tho it's a 250 like it had. I tried to figure out what I needed and not needed and pluged off things. Seems to work and will sell the car eventualy so it's good.

I have a newer phone but cant email pics and I dont have the cable to upload them directly, I use a mini SD card

I forgot about my wifes camera...so here are the pictures....the vacuum lines that are hooked up dont pay any attention to, as I started going by that other diagram...that may or may not be wrong

Few more pics on the next post

from what i see there you should be able to get a way with a simple vacuum system. on the first picture, that port is what i belive is ported vacuum. there should be no vacuum at that port with the throttle closed but when you open the throttle it should see manifold vacuum. i would run a vac. line from that port streight to the vacuum advance on the distrubotor in pic #3. i would just plug off all the rest for now except for the one showed in the second pic on the second set of pics. that if for the vacuum modulator on the trans. that line should goto a manifold vacuum port.
thats all that you should need to make it run.

I got it running, but its not running good at all...take a look at this video and see what you guys can figure out.

    Air Cleaner is off

    Exhaust is off(header still on)

First time it stalled I hit the gas, second time it stalled happened when idling

Sorry about the lighting...its not well lit in there and I dont have a good place for the cam to get a engine view

I just uploaded it, so it may take a few moments for it to be validated
