You don't have to paint it black. This is a ford. It will pick up leaky fluids from all over, and become black over the next year or so...

working on the gear situation soon, mabey a 3.50 tracloc out of a truck but still searching:16suspect

 

go steeper on the gears. You won't like a 3.50. Yeah, so it humms down the freeway at 3500 rpms, you will really like something in the 3.89 range.

 

I chose 3:50 gearing for mine.

i put 3:55 in mine. now i wish i would have went with 3:89

 

I really like my 3.80 gears, and it does fine on freeway driving.

But when I drove Rick Book's car with 4.56 (I think) gears, it felt like it had an extra 100 horses!

Of course I would NOT like to drive 4.56 on the highway.

 

new tires 3.89 gears, 70 mph road 3 days a week, can you say GAS HOG!

3.50 will be fine for what i want
