Can get a good deal on some 17 inch wheels but thnking they might not look right on a Mav/Com. Is anyone running 17 inch wheels? Do you have some pics?

I have 17x9 on the rear and 17x7.5 on the front everyone seems to like the look of the wheel because thats the first thing they ask about.

1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.

Do you have any pics so we can see?

Did the 05+ bullits requre large spacers to be flush with the fenders? I have a serious pet peeve with wheel/tires with the wrong offset inward.

yes they will require spacers of over 1" to fit a maverick

Thanks they look decent, I prefer a wheel to stick out more so something with a bit of a lip.

On the '05 up wheels, 1.5" would work but 2" is about perfect. I have 1.5" in the front because I'm paranoid about hurting my fenders, and 2" in the rear.
