Nice work ... especially for learning as you go. This definitely has my interest now.

Amazing shape on that parts car slice ... very nice condition. If you weren't so far away, I would have been knocking on your door for that drivers rear quarter. Someone here will want some of those leftovers.

I wish my dad when bought the car would have got the $99.00 rust treatment.....this is what happens when you dont get it....I will install the new floor then deal with this once the jackstands can be moved...

another shot of the ugly...

this is the patch that will be installed after the floor goes in....I havent done this type of repair before so I have been looking at the other threads for info...

got the rearend out of the donor floor.....made it easier to flip over...I am pleased with the shape of the floor...

just some surface rust to take care of....

Got the floor for my 76 all clean and undercoated.....now to prep the stallion for the install..........

Took the night off from the project...I am trying to also complete a 73 Ski doo TnT.........back on the 76 this weekend...

1972 Maverick - daily driven 180,000+ miles since 2005. Now with a 1980 200 I6/SROD 4 speed.. 2.79 rear gear, Rochester BC carb, single out header, MSD ignition, Taurus fan, Delco 10SI alternator. 30 mpg hwy. @ 70 mph / 24 city.

I have the bottom mount tank...it will fit through the hole if I trim the sides of the opening 1/8"...the best thing to do is to find a drop in tank...here in Minnesota this item might be tough to find.......

Yes it is...........the info on this forum has been very helpful......I figure people have restored cars in worse condition then this......I will be putting some blood and soul into this build..I value the car.......
