I'm an RB guy - just like everything about it. I wish they would have had the black shell version out when I did my cars undercarraige. Do some searches for "rust bullet" or "rust bullit" - there are several threads with pictures.

I no longer approve of Eastwoods Rust Encapsulator. I have had trouble with it sticking to non rusty metal and trouble top coating it.

Whatever you use - follow the instructions to the letter.

    Rust Bullit ...
I put it on the inside of Earls newly rechromed bumper. it has been rechromed twice after being applied and the stripping chem. wouldn't strip it off. the lady at the chrome shop was even asking what it was.
if the chems. will strip chrome and rust and not touch the...Rust Bullit...it has my vote...:yup:
    I have used por15 with sad results...your call...

Never had a problem with eastwoods rust encapsulator. I have had issues with Por-15 though. Ultimately...All the products mentioned seem to do the job well so, its up to you...Research them all. Look at prep, application and compatibility with top coats as well as reduction methods/clean up if you intend to put it through a spray gun. Good luck!!!

i have only used por 15 once on my car. i coated the inside of my floor pans and the under side of the trunk. the trunk floor had surface rust on top and bottom. i followed por 15s instructions to the letter and have had no complaints about it. everybody that has complaints should post exactly what they are so you will get good idea of what the problem with it is.

I had good luck with Por15. The bad thing about it was I had to buy it directly from their website + shipping because at the time they were no other vendors. I bought Rust Bullet local and also had good luck with it. Rust Bullet is vu protected whereas Por15 is not and will need a topcoat if the sun will be shinning on it.
