    Hey Guys,

Will one of the 5.0 EFI intakes bolt on an early('72) 302 block and heads? I haven't dealt much with the newer engines and don't know if they interchange or not. If so, are there better years to look for than others?

I already have the .030 over 302 that is in good shape, but I am thinking of going with EFI and need the topend only if it will work. I am going to try and go with a different type of EFI setup, and do not need the controller, dist., and such, just the intake, fuel rail, injectors, TPS, etc.

    Thanks for any help,

Maxx; You're going to need the upper intake off a '95 Mustang or '98 Explorer. These have a bend towards the front of the car that will allow for clearance of mounting the air box, etc. The earlier ones are straight and will interfere with the shock tower. All lower intakes should work though. If you have any other questions, let me know. I've been through this.

    Sam :)
