That looks good. Kinda like the ones that Jimmy was making, just more subtle, not as tall, not in you face large.

Painted Hood

I did get the hood painted today. This took me 3 hours to do. Its not perfect but it will be alright for now anyway. I watched a 2 minute video on how to do this. thought I would give it a try, heres the results. It does have a bad spot on the passenger side... it will be alright for now..

The first picture is a during one, after the black base has already been sprayed.

Dont worry MAVERICKMAN this doesnt look as good as your hoods.

You will have to come take a look at it in person. I like the way it turned out, execpt for that bad spot.

Im glad I didnt have to try to match the yellow paint.

First thing I thought when I saw that scoop was, "Damn...there's a Super Modified car somewhere that could use that thing."

Like the way the faux carbon fiber look turned out. Very slick!

That's really cool!! The car will look so much better without that thing called a scoop.

how to airbrush CARBON FIBER! - YouTube
First is body panel of car but second is same method more detail..but its spraying a metal pc case.

Carbon Fiber Paint Effect (dirtdesignsgraphic.com) - YouTube
Easy effect. There are other methods...but the one in this video turns out great. I have seen others do a 3 part mesh spray..but alot harder to match it up.
