I think 1974 is when they stoped making the v8.

72' comet had 4 engine options 170 200 250 302. Are the tranny lines from a 72 comet V8?

I need one witch side does the lower rad. Hose come on mine its the passenger side

The drain petcock hits the front cross member. Several of us had to notch the crossmember for clearance. The bottom radiator hose JUST clears the cross member when installed on the radiator outlet. The radiator cap is probably pretty close to the hood but doesn't touch. But, you'll love it.

stock Maverick won't work for your motor.
talk to Sid at Champion and tell him you need a maverick radiator with the pass side outlet...
