Have any shady characters taken an interest in your car lately? Any teenagers you know that might take it for a joy ride? I'm guessing either someone wanted some parts off it or some kids knew it was an easy car to steal.

Hope you get your car back. When mine was stolen I put it on Craigslist several different ways to get the word out along with fliers, several web forums, Hemmings Magizine and a lot of leg work. Keep the pressure on the individual(s) and with some luck you will get it back.

That's what I said in my first post - they cant be that bright

I could see thieves looking to turn a big buck being after a 69 Z-28 or an original HEMI car but a Maverick?

I think it will turn out that they are out for a joy ride - hopefully

Not this year. I am for sure going to both next year with the roadster project. I am that close to paint. I had it fire up now it is stripped and I am painting the engine bay then each panel that is off the car then the rest of the body. Needless to say I am stoked to be on the final steps of the project.

Dude that sucks!! Why people have to stoop so low as to steal someones car is beyond me.

Good luck on getting it back! And I agree with the others who mentioned about putting ads in the paper and online. Post pics wherever possible.
