All After talking with Dennis (Mavaholic) at the roundup last Saturday he has given me the OK to take over the sprint registry found in this thread. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=17962&highlight=sprint+registry Dennis has done an awesome job doing this over the years and I hope to continue what he has started. I know there are multiple sprints on the forum that haven't been registered yet so please either send me a PM or email with the info. Below I have cut and pasted from the other thread what is needed to register your car. Name (yours) Address (yours) Engine (original) trans (original) rear (original) Factory options Dealer installed options History Current condition I also need a close up picture of of the door data plate since this is the only proof of it being a factory Sprint. I also would like at least 1 picture of your car, more if you have them. I will print 2 copies of the registry page that your car is on. It will be printed on photo paper. One will go in the registry and the other I will mail to you. Dennis has sent me the pages for the cars already registered and they look very nice. It is definitely worth having to display along with your car. If you already registered your car but need to update any info please let me know and I'll add it. Thanks Ted
Sure would be nice to have an online version of the registry. Maybe a "Closed" thread that only you could post to with a post for each Sprint with whatever info could be public?
I would suggest your own website. I have a website for my 1970 Ford Maverick Grabber registry, and I know there is one for the Stallions.
Good Luck with it Ted. I think an online registration is an excellent idea and will get a much better response.
Before I attended/hosted the MCCI Roundup Nationals way back in 2002, the only other Mavericks Sprints I had ever seen were: 1. There was one that ran around campus when I was in college at Ball State. Car was very rough (mid to late 80's). It ran and drove and the student was using it as a commuter car, just as I was doing with my Maverick at the time 2. There was one that sat in a guy's front yard way out in the country. He lived a ways off the road, but one could tell it was a Sprint. Haven't seen those two cars in years.
I've been able to add 4 additional Sprints to the registry . Thanks for sending in the info everybody. I'll work this week on getting the pages printed off and mailed to everyone. Thanks Ted
No problem I am still working on the layout and formatting. Just click on my name and send me an email. Ted

Ted, I would like to add my Sprint to the registry Name (yours) Chuck Irion Address (yours) 104 Woodland Dr. Harriman, TN. 37748 Engine (original) 200 6cyl trans (original) 3 speed on the colume. (3 on the tree) rear (original) 3:00 Factory options AM radio, and thats it. Dealer installed options None History Unknown at this time, still working on gathering that information Current condition Driver at this time. Third in line for restoration, behind the Stallion. I also need a close up picture of of the door data plate since this is the only proof of it being a factory Sprint. I also would like at least 1 picture of your car, more if you have them. I will print 2 copies of the registry page that your car is on. It will be printed on photo paper. One will go in the registry and the other I will mail to you. The first picture is the car the way I bought it. The second and third pictures of the car is after I made a few changes, I added a rear spoiler and had a rust free grabber hood painted with the sprint colors. Let me know if you anything more. Thanks, Chuck
I sent in all the info and pictures of my car and never heard another thing..... Is he still doing this??
I'm still doing it. It took longer than I thought to be able to get the formatting right so it would look nice and then life intervened. Apologies to all and I'll commit to getting them in the mail by the weekend. Ted
