Does anyone sell Comfortweave material?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells Comfortweave material by the yard. I am eventually going to reupholster (with the Mustang kits) some bucket seats I got for the Grabber, and I want to reupholster the rear seat to match. Thanks.

Corbin,

This is Ed's wife.

I might have found a place for you to call it is in the Phoenix,AZ area the name of the company is Phoenix trim & supply, phone # 602-269-5825, I had spoke to a guy by the name of Wayne. He said that he has four different colors, and that it is the breatheable comfortweave.
Hope this helps.

Corbin,

If you follow up on this lead can you please keep us informed of the outcome? I was thinking of doing the same thing myself, but didn't think the real "Comfortweave" was still available. Thanks. John B.

Anybody ever find a Comfortweave looking replacement? I call this place above and they didn't have it. I also told them that the 2003 and 2004 Mustang Mach 1 used Comfortweave seats. They said their Detroit manuals did not list a replacement source.

Quote from a Mustang site:

I learned from TMI that the product described as "Comfort Weave" is no longer woven due to the machine that made the stuff burned. What's being sold is an embossed look-alike.

I haven't found anything yet. I am still looking even though the Grabber is on the back burner right now. I would love to find some though, so I can redo my rear seat with comfortweave inserts.

I notice all the Mustang places that sell ComfortWeave upholstery have it labeled MCA approved so I guess it looks pretty good. Just have to find out where to get it my the yard ... I'll have to talk to the upholstery shop that I've worked with in the past.

I currently have 73 buckets and rear seat in my 71 Grabber. I sold the tracks off of those white 72 buckets I have so I'm thinking about getting them redone in black and putting the correct seats in my Grabber ... Guess I have a choice of Fabric or Comfortweave inserts.

I think I have a pretty decent match ... Gonna see if my upholstery guy can get a sample ...

Real ComfortWeave woven vinyl if available NOS would have been long gone from any supplier ... It is a much sought after item in the Classic Mustang world ..
