Question 70 gas tank

How many gallons are a '70 gas tank? 14??

I need to buy a fuel sending unit with a the correct capacity.

There were 2 tanks - cars made with the special emissions system that is found in the left side of the trunk used a 14 gallon tank and the rest of the cars used a 16 gallon.

The sending units were different slightly to accommodate the different size tanks.
